First Project......
.....for Creative Expressions. I was lucky enough to have been picked to be on their 2013/2014 Design Team.......pleased might be a bit of an understatement!! Lol!
Anyway here is a tag using a stamp off of their Winter Flower stamp plate.
I cut a tag shape and coloured by adding some Forest Moss and Antique Linen Distress Paint to a craft sheet, spritzing with water and dragging tag through. The rip a bit of vintage book paper and adhere to tag, then edge tag with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink using a bit of Cut 'n' Dry. Take a piece of corrugated card (rescue a few old boxes!) and cut to tag shape slightly larger than the one you've just coloured, tear e few bits of the surface off to reveal the corrugations. Brush a little of the Antique Linen Distress Paint over the edges and then shade with some of the Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Glue coloured tag to corrugated tag.
Stamp the flower with black ink onto some white card and then paint with Distress Ink (Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy and Mustard Seed), cut out the flowers and arrange onto tag then when happy with arrangement glue in place. Stamp the sentiment, cut out, edge with distress ink and glue in place. To finish lightly apply a little Creative Expression Enchanted Gold Gilding Wax to the edges of the base tag and then top tags with a bow of Pewter Crushed Silk ribbon.
Thanks for looking

Have to thank my mate Mandy for this one 'cos I stamped all this out with her stamps when I popped over for a 'play' day the other day.

Halloween with a Christmas twist.....
.....is the theme chosen by Carol for us at Sunday Postcard Art this week. When I was over at Mandy's on Wednesday I borrowed one of her stamps to use for my entry this week. I figured I could easily adapt the hat that the Raven was wearing to give it a Christmassy feel!

Who lives in a house like this.......
Well as it's Thursday it must be time for another TagAlong challenge. This week I'm hosting again and I've picked the theme of Haunted House. Lots of dimension on this one with the use of some Tim Holtz die cuts and a few chipboard trees from Hobbycraft. The background is made with a mixture of distress ink and cosmic shimmer sprays and has a lovely subtle shimmer. The 'inhabitants' are from a gorgeous Oxford Impressions sheet - 'Danse Macabre' which I got from That's Crafty.
So why not pop over to TagAlong and have a play :)

A little touch of Christmas.....
....with another sample made for Sheena Douglass's shows on Create and Craft tomorrow. The picture was coloured with Spectrum Noirs and highlighted with some white acrylic and glitter.
This church stamp is a really versatile one, you can change the season just by changing the colour of your inks and pens.

Mornin' all.........
......a little heads up post today. Sheena will be on Create and Craft again this Saturday (12th) with some lovely stamps. Here's one of the samples I've created using the cutest stamp of a blue tit..........
......all the colouring of the bird, branch and background etc was done with Spectrum Noir pens and then the main panel was edged with some distress inks. Stamped and embossed the spruce branch onto the base card for added texture.
Don't forget to tune in for some great dems from Sheena.

Black Cats....
......of the spooky kind are featuring this week on Sunday Postcard Art as we begin our month of spooky challenges to celebrate Halloween month. Here's mine for this week.....
The background is done with masks and mica sprays, then a little overstamping. Cut a strip of card, coloured it orange, stamped it with some text, edged with some black ink and then folded it and glued and stapled it into place at the bottom of the postcard. The cat, tiny bats and spiders web are die cuts (Tim Holtz and Memory Box). Why not pop over to Sunday Postcard Art and see the other spooky creations.
