So for today's sneaky peek......

.....of the new Sheena Douglass stamps we have the Phoenix taking centre stage and rising from the ashes.....

The 'charred remains' are made by scraping a mix of black gesso and texture paste onto the surface of your piece of card with an old credit/gift card. Then the background is distress inks applied in a linear fashion to accentuate the feeling of flames and heat rising. The phoenix itself was embossed in black and painted with silks, with a few white highlights added with a white pencil.
